Greenland, Markets & Media Meltdowns
Alex and Dani are back to do what legacy media refuses to do: explain what actually happened instead of hyperventilating on cue. While cable news was busy clutching pearls, Trump was out here playing geopolitical chess and confusing the financial press at the same time. It’s almost like there’s a method to it. Weird.
🧾 Tonight's Lineup:
• 🧊 The Greenland “Buy” That Wasn’t – The media laughed, Europe panicked, and Trump quietly forced the EU to start paying for its own defense. Call it a stunt if it helps you sleep. It worked.
• 📉 Trump comes out against the Dallas Stock Exchange – His reaction caught me off guard. When a city signals that it hates the people who pay the bills, those people start looking for friendlier ground. The expansion wasn’t shocking. It was inevitable. I even predicted it!.
🔥 TPS Report Live – No Spin. No ...
We haven't been streaming, and I figure you all deserve to know why.
On August 10th I decided to take the rest of the month off. Honestly, it started as a heat thing. Keeping the studio comfortable this summer was miserable and I just didn't want to deal with it. But August ended and I realized something: I didn't miss streaming. Not even a little. I asked Dani if she felt the same way, and she did.
Yesterday was the show's anniversary. I didn't feel any pull or desire to go live. Dani and I made a deal a long time ago that we'd keep doing this as long as it was fun, and the second it started feeling like work, we'd stop. I think we're there.
Dani has other successful projects going that take up a lot of her time, and they're very much worth her time. As for me, I’m at the point where I prefer recording and uploading on my own schedule better than the grind of live streaming. So going forward, live streaming is going to be the exception, not the rule.
This isn't necessarily a goodbye. ...
