Bureaucrats Melt Down, CNN Invents New Colors
Alex and Dani are both in the studio tonight, heroically sifting through another stack of stories that mainstream media somehow can’t report without stepping on a rake. Legacy news outlets are busy auditioning for a slapstick comedy while the administrative state quietly loses its grip on unchecked power. It’s chaos, but at least we’re honest about it.
🧾 Tonight's Lineup:
• 🧹 Appeals Court Restores Trump’s Firing Power – Bureaucrats are sweating through their government-issued polos after an appeals court affirmed that, yes, the elected President can actually fire people. Wild concept. And SCOTUS is warming up to weigh in too. The swamp creatures are panicking, which usually means the country is headed in a better direction.
• 🧨 Pipe Bomb Suspect Arrested… Five Years Later – The FBI finally nabbed the January 2021 pipe-bomb suspect ...
We haven't been streaming, and I figure you all deserve to know why.
On August 10th I decided to take the rest of the month off. Honestly, it started as a heat thing. Keeping the studio comfortable this summer was miserable and I just didn't want to deal with it. But August ended and I realized something: I didn't miss streaming. Not even a little. I asked Dani if she felt the same way, and she did.
Yesterday was the show's anniversary. I didn't feel any pull or desire to go live. Dani and I made a deal a long time ago that we'd keep doing this as long as it was fun, and the second it started feeling like work, we'd stop. I think we're there.
Dani has other successful projects going that take up a lot of her time, and they're very much worth her time. As for me, I’m at the point where I prefer recording and uploading on my own schedule better than the grind of live streaming. So going forward, live streaming is going to be the exception, not the rule.
This isn't necessarily a goodbye. ...
