Matt Gaetz was just successful in Removing Kevin McCarthy as speaker of the house. Matt and 7 of his “republican” friends joined with every single Democrat in removing McCarthy. The radical 3% really do contol the party!
Before you celebrate, remember that this probably just cost us the 2024 election. Kevin McCarthy was the GOP‘s largest fundraiser. He just got kneecapped meaning he won’t be able to raise money now, putting the GOP on the back foot during already lean fundraising times. (The party is at about 10% of what it should have already raised).
Make no mistake, Matt Gaetz engineered this, he cost us spending cuts in the process, and he and his Democrat friends just cost us the election.
