I appealed Yesterdays take down of the YouTube channel. I pointed out that the single video on the channel violated no policy. I pointed out that I live in Georgia, and that we have legal protection here and I gave them a document preservation order. This morning the channel was reinstated.!
I do still intend to follow up to find out who is targeting us, whether an individual or an organization, and I guess I’ll continue to use this YouTube channel the way I have been, livestream, then immediately delete. But this is bizarre. YouTube is bizarre!
We haven't been streaming, and I figure you all deserve to know why.
On August 10th I decided to take the rest of the month off. Honestly, it started as a heat thing. Keeping the studio comfortable this summer was miserable and I just didn't want to deal with it. But August ended and I realized something: I didn't miss streaming. Not even a little. I asked Dani if she felt the same way, and she did.
Yesterday was the show's anniversary. I didn't feel any pull or desire to go live. Dani and I made a deal a long time ago that we'd keep doing this as long as it was fun, and the second it started feeling like work, we'd stop. I think we're there.
Dani has other successful projects going that take up a lot of her time, and they're very much worth her time. As for me, I’m at the point where I prefer recording and uploading on my own schedule better than the grind of live streaming. So going forward, live streaming is going to be the exception, not the rule.
This isn't necessarily a goodbye. ...
