The channel had 1 video on it. The claim is that it violated the Spam/Scam/Commercially Deceptive policy. Reading the policy it didn’t actually violate at all. We deleted all the live shows immediately after the show finished, so there was no content there to violate any other policy. This was a targeted takedown. Someone is keeping an eye out for us an reporting on demand.
Luckily, I live in GA where sb393 requires YouTube to disclose reasons for a takedown, including user reported content. I am sending a preservation of records demand in advance of a official appeal. We will discover who is targeting us.
This was a good experiment which gave me the data I needed to move forward with new legislation in GA to protect creators. More to come.
